Museum Gift Shop

Located inside the Museum of the Albemarle, the shop sells local handcrafts, books, and souvenirs that represent the region and complement the Museum's current exhibits and programs. It showcases the talent and beauty of Northeastern North Carolina through the 90-plus artists and artisans who sell their work in the store.

You will find unique items perfect as a gift or a remembrance of your visit to the Museum. Discover one-of-a-kind jewelry and accessories, pottery, fiber art, and glassware. Elizabeth City T-shirts, towels, and ornaments are particular favorites, as are local cookbooks, homemade jams and jellies, and Bertie County Peanuts. New and "old-time" toys add a treat for kids while enjoying the Museum.

Overlooking the Pasquotank River, the Museum of the Albemarle interprets the history of the Albemarle Region through the "Our Story" permanent exhibition.
